Job Summary:
This position for a Chiller Product Engineer Intern includes responsibility for product design, application, controls, drives/starters, productivity, and product enhancements related to Water-Cooled chillers produced in the Trane-Pueblo facility. This Engineering Intern will be involved in New Product design & VAVE projects and participate in team decision making and problem solving with employees throughout the organization.
This internship requires year-round availability while attending school full time. Preferred candidates would have completed their sophomore year with at least two school years remaining. Hours are flexible, but applicants must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer and breaks.
Interaction with business processes may include design/drafting, materials, systems, production planning, manufacturing, quality, and safety. An experienced engineer will provide assignment guidance and mentoring for specific projects.
