Product Data Model Marketing and Visualization Supervisor

In this position...  

Reporting into the Product Development (PD) eXtended Reality (XR) team responsible for vehicle program Product Data Model (PDM) development for Marketing and extended PD use, this role is to manage the GSR team focused on development, delivery, and innovation of the data pipeline in line with program needs.  This role will be instrumental in managing day-to-day operations of the deliverables and collaborating cross-functionally to advance integration into new tools and establishing foundation for future digital asset pipeline. 

The role requires familiarity with PD product program lifecycle, marketing digital assets, and XR domain.  The role has the following components:

People Leader: Set objectives/KPIs (for self + direct reports), training, and performance evaluations Plan & Implement: Oversee project management aligned with PD and Marketing requirements and deliver PDMs to meet business requirements (both Program and Marketing) Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with multiple internal and external teams that consume PDM Innovation: Improve pipeline, integrate data models into new tech, and assist with building foundation to advance data to visualization Business and Technical Acumen

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field/experience 5+ years -Demonstrated leadership advancing multiple work tasks and manage priorities to meet deliverables with aggressive timelines   Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems Collaboration across the organization at multiple levels (internally and with external partners) 5+ Years - Knowledge of Program of GPDS Timing/Process Familiarity with vehicle product programs and buildable market offer configurations Knowledge of Product Engineering Letters (PDLs) or similar  Working with contract agency and/or purchases services

Familiarity and some knowledge of common tools used for engineering, digital product, visualization, digital assets, and purchasing used in Ford PD and across Marketing content creation PD PLM and CAD Tools: 3DX, Teamcenter, Catia, Siemens, Digital Buck, Global Integrator, Product Definition (PDO) Virtual Rendering Tools: VRED, 3DExcite/Dassault/DeltaGen, Pixies, UnReal, Unity, NVIDIA Ford Tools: DMR, Aurora/Ariba, GEAR/Digital Asset Management (DAM), MOCM/Order Guide WorkflowWorking experience with international markets (global teams) Some knowledge of Agile project management Experience using project management and issue-tracking tools (such as JIRA)  Knowledge of Ford interrelated PD and Marketing dependencies pertaining to product program GPDS, product immersions, prototypes, engineering change management, and regional product variations (specifically <FDJ> through <OKTB> Experience managing or supporting marketing digital content production Understanding of digital product data models and 3D rendering (pre-rendered, real-time)

What you'll do…

This role will focus on Ford’s adoption of global digital product data models (PDMs) and newly available 3D Digital Twins for all Ford vehicles, including:

Manage a team of 8-10 people to deliver digital production of PDMs, Digital Twins and future custom Ford visualizations Create and maintain staffing, succession, and development plans for GSRs Manage contract and purchases service resources (includes estimate work effort, timing and requirements) to ensure project deliverables Support PD digital transformation efforts and work cross-functionally with other Ford teams (ie Design, Engineering) to align on approach, methods and integration into new industrial technologies Assist with establishing centralized governance and communications Define metrics, report regularly and monitor to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
