Product Data Management Analyst Internship

In this position, you will contribute in improving Product Lifecycle Management and CAD tools used in our organization worldwide, learn how organization works with Technical Product Documentation and will gain valuable insight that can further enhance your curiosity about your chosen career field. If you desire to be a part of a world-class team and if you have a strong desire to always put the customer first, Thermo Fisher Scientific can provide you the opportunity to work in the Global Engineering Organization and support products that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. **What will you work on:** + Gather, analyze, and manage business requirements to support product data processes + Define challenges users are facing and help identify effective solutions + Assist with testing new features, system changes, and improvements + Contribute to the creation and enhancement of training materials and user guides **Qualifications:** + Student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor’s degree + Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering/science major + Interest in data management and data analytics + Basic understanding of database logic and processes + Strong technical approach with attention to detail + Familiarity with technical documentation and engineering workflows + Enthusiasm for working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems + knowledge of any of the following tools is advantageous: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or other CAD/PLM system is beneficial **How do we motivate you?** + work with us and be an important part of a company developing cutting-edge technologies for a scientific customers worldwide + flexible working schedule which enables you to easily combine work with your studies + brand new Hackerspace room equipped with VR headset, Recording studio for your videos, music or podcasts, Lego Mindstorms, 3D printer, Arduino and much more! + learning and development opportunities including English lessons.
