Job Description
Join the CM/MT Excellence team within the Industry Product Development, Multistage Value Stream at Grundfos — a collaborative community focused on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and the continuous development of two key product portfolios. As a Product Data Development Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring data quality, configurability, and transparency across the entire product value chain. Your work will include building and maintaining configurators (SAP LOVC), managing product classes (SAP), and working with component and product data using tools like MS Excel and Power BI.
**Your main responsibilities** :
+ Creating and maintaining SAP LOVC product configurators for use both in SAP and in the online Grundfos Product Center
+ Collecting, creating, and analyzing product data to support the development, manufacture, launch, and distribution of Grundfos products
+ Ensuring usability of the configuration system across the value chain
+ Combining a high level of system knowledge with technical product understanding
+ Supporting the introduction of new product features with data and configuration capabilities
+ Ensuring that your work is well-documented and transparent
+ Collaborating closely with team members and other functions (e.g. mechanical/electrical engineering, product management, production, and IT)
+ Contributing to a strong and productive relationship with the team’s global stakeholders
**Your background** :
We imagine that you have:
+ An engineering degree (Master or Bachelor) or similar education
+ 2–5 years of relevant experience
+ Proficiency in English – both verbal and written
+ Technical knowledge in product data development and SAP LOVC configuration
+ Experience with relevant tools (e.g. SAP LOVC, SAP ERP, MS Excel)
+ A team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
+ A structured and conscientious approach, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables
+ Ability to clearly communicate complex technical topics to various stakeholders
+ Understanding of Agile principles
