Role:

Lead and own the transformation of Product Control processes, fostering innovation to adapt to the evolving needs of the business and regulatory landscapeDevelop and implement strategies to streamline P&L reporting, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with the firm's long-term objectivesDrive initiatives to modernize reconciliation frameworks, introducing automated and advanced solutions to improve efficiency and reduce operational riskAct as a change agent, challenging existing processes and championing cross-departmental collaboration to identify and implement impactful improvementsDevelop and refine P&L attribution methodologies, leveraging data and analytics to deliver enhanced insights for strategic decision-makingOversee the reconciliation of P&L and balance sheet front to back, setting new standards for transparency and controlAdvocate for the evolution of valuation processes, ensuring robust and fair mark-to-market (MtM) assessments while enhancing valuation frameworksPartner with stakeholders across Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations to influence strategic priorities and ensure seamless execution of change initiativesProvide thought leadership, mentoring junior team members and driving a culture of excellence, innovation, and adaptabilityLead cross-functional teams in resolving high-impact issues and managing change projects, ensuring successful delivery and measurable outcomes that transform the bank's operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; advanced certifications preferredMinimum of 7 years of experience within a Product Control team, with demonstrated leadership capabilitiesExceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, for preparing impactful presentations and reportsProven ability to work effectively across cultures and regions, driving transformative change while upholding organizational valuesStrong confidence and expertise to represent the team when engaging with business stakeholders on P&L mattersBackground in public accounting, preferably with experience at a Big 4 firmComprehensive technical knowledge, including substantial exposure to fixed income and derivative products across multiple facetsCPA certification or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferredDeep understanding of accounting principles, standards, and financial reporting fundamentalsExperience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, and/or VBA is advantageousProficiency in data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, thrive under tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality resultsProactive and enthusiastic approach to collaborating with senior stakeholders across finance, front office, treasury, operations, and IT to drive strategic initiatives

The typical base pay range for this role is between $119K - $160K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
