Job Description
As a Product Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining factory hygiene by conducting environmental microbiological swabbing. You will be responsible for routine and as-needed swabbing analysis, data entry, and communication with third-party laboratories. Additionally, you will verify the Master Sanitation Program, support pest control by logging pest findings, and collaborate with Operations and Facilities to address any Environmental Monitoring Program deviations. Some sanitation tasks will take place within the QA lab, and you must be comfortable working on the floor, standing for the entire shift, and working in hot conditions such as the Dryer room.
ResponsibilitiesConduct environmental microbiological swabbing to maintain factory hygiene.Execute routine and as-needed swabbing analysis.Enter data and communicate with third-party labs.Ship samples for analysis.Verify the Master Sanitation Program.Support pest control by logging pest findings.Collaborate with Operations and Facilities to address Environmental Monitoring Program deviations.Perform sanitation tasks within the QA lab.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma with 3-4 years in a food-grade manufacturing environment following GMP regulations or B.S. in Life Sciences with 2-4 years in a similar environment.Experience in the pharmaceutical industry following GMP regulations is also acceptable.2-4+ years in a quality assurance role.Experience working under FDA and GMP regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in quality assurance within food manufacturing and the pharmaceutical industry.Familiarity with GMP regulations and quality assurance processes.Work Environment
You will spend 50% of your time on the manufacturing floor and 50% in an office setting. The Quality Assurance team is expanding from 4 to 6 technicians for better coverage. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
