Product Area Process Manager Description: **Position Title:** (Product Unit) Area Process Manager **Pay Rate** : $121,100 – 148,100 _Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range._ **Category/Shift** : Salaried Full-Time **Physical Location** : 2449 Stagecoach Rd Oglethorpe, GA 31068 **The Job You Will Perform:** 1. Working with PC/FLL and Product Unit resources, ensure safety is prioritized above all else. Drive completion of FLL Intervention guides, Top Five, Safe work notifications/execution, Safety investigations drift assessments, 1 pager drafts, and TFRA/motorized equipment protection improvements 2. Focus from the HDs to the warehouse wall. Develop continuous improvement opportunities and deliberate improvement efforts to drive machine performance up. 3. Improve Uptime and Acceptance from the Wet End through the Wrapline. 4. Leads the implementation of area improvement projects. Works with area project engineer to implement improvement projects and train area operators 5. Participates and lead as necessary area reliability team meetings 6. Provide leadership for identifying, developing and completing initiatives to improve dry end throughput and machine availability 7. Build leadership skills of direct reports, process engineering technicians and operating technicians. Deliver coaching to Shift PC’s and FLL’s, PET’s and STC’s in achieving area plans. Provide daily operational support and professional/technical growth. 8. Work collaboratively with Shift PC’s/FLL’s and HPTL in Performance Management Process. Provide feedback to teams and individuals, participate in resolving performance issues, celebrate and provide recognition where appropriate 9. Actively works to build strong relationship between operations and maintenance 10. Utilizes information systems to track area performance and identify leverage opportunities 11. Ensure shift notes are completed and accurate with high level of detail 12. Communicate team performance with recognition for high performers. 13. Work with OMC to prioritize work plans and support execution with audits 14. Work with PSD Manager to optimize run schedule and achieve 95% or greater run schedule adherence while maximizing production **Quality Expectations** + Ensure an understanding of quality policy and support efforts for a positive customer experience. + Aid in the execution of mill-wide quality efforts as needed to help maintain mill quality standards. **The Skills You Will Bring:** Minimum: + Previous team leader/supervisory, project management, etc. experience in the paper industry (two to five years). + Proven ability to develop others. + Proven record of leading safe work practices. + Experience in setting good manufacturing practices and developing administrative and operative systems, including area goals and budgets, using the appropriate, reliable and sustainable methods.
