The Role

The Product Area Leader (PAL), Health & Welfare is a hands-on product leadership role within the Fidelity Health organization. Health & Welfare is the foundation of Fidelity’s outsourced benefits administration offering and a growth business for the firm. You will be responsible for the roadmap development and product delivery for one of our most critical platforms.

Develop and deliver on a strategic product roadmap for broader market as well as for client-specific featuresDeliver scale and automation capabilities within products and services for improved customer and business outcomesDrive product design that will inherently provide for operational efficiency within a benefits administration environmentPartner with Client Services, Operations, and Technology to define and deliver innovation solutions that meet and exceed market expectations for Fidelity’s clients.Engage and get results within the Agile delivery methodology

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or an equivalent (MBA preferred).15+ years of Product Management experience with a track record of defining product direction and delivering high-value solutions within an agile environmentExpertise in the Benefits Outsourcing market, the competitive landscape, and emerging product needsExperience leading vendor relationships and outsourced service modelsSolid understanding of agile practices, software development methodologies, program management, and product management principlesCapable of collaborating across multiple teams and partners in a matrixed environment.Demonstrated leadership with organizational change, including the approach to introduce next generation capabilities within an evolving environment.Analyze, metric and report progress across products, services and programsCuriosity to understand and build expertise around the Healthcare Industry and Healthcare Products.Build high performing teams and create and inclusive environment across the team and business partnersFamiliarity with HCM, benefits platforms, and digital health solutions is a plus.

The team develops capabilities that are instrumental to servicing benefits administration clients and supporting new, year-round digital engagement experiences.

Fidelity’s hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences. Having the majority of our associates work onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture.
