Position\: Product Application Engineer (PAE) 

Location\: Philippines

The Engineer shall promote and provide pre-sales support for a broad range of solutions, offers and services in coordination with the country’s industrial and process automation initiatives and aspirations.

The Engineer is accountable for prescribing projects ranging from simple equipment to fully engineered solutions with a strong focus on the utilities segment (power, water, etc.).

Responsibility\:

·  Act as the technical interface between sales and sales support, LoB and customers in line with the country’s business strategy.

·  Act as a technical consultant on the assigned segments to achieve yearly sales target.

·  Drive the technical discussion and clarification during the sales cycle with the sales team as the domain expert (including to go to customer’s office/site).

·  Animate the sales team by leveraging technical knowledge and ability to reach target as well as pipeline creation.

·  Works closely with all stakeholders to maximize business opportunities.

·  Ability to understand and identify customer needs and be able to prescribe Schneider Electric solutions.

·  Lead/support technical workshops with our targeted customers and partners & become their trusted advisor.

·  Provide related products/solutions seminars/enablement to train sales team and partners on SE offers and services as well as specific offer/products.

·  Lead the annual technical certification requirement for the end user (where applicable).

·  Coordinate and engage regional technical and sales resources such as solution architects, key account managers, business development managers, line of business, etc. to help in crafting the solution and winning the deal (if necessary)

·  Coordinate with the tendering team to identify specific or customer technical requirements by the customer.

·  Develop and build processes and best practices (if any) to improve our engagement model with clients and internal stakeholders.

·  Understand all relevant regulations, standards and codes that drives the solution decision choices, and any certification(s) required.

·  Support local teams and/or SE’s channel partner with initial design and solutions/product enablement.
