As a Product Analyst, your role is crucial to our mission of delivering an outstanding experience to our loyal and engaged readers and advertisers. The analyst will be working with one of our product groups to deliver actionable insights, dashboards and experiments that help Condé Nast achieve its ambitious product OKRs. 

The analyst should be entrepreneurial, highly technical and analytically skilled, able and willing to synthesize relevant information to provide guidance for internal stakeholders, influence and communicate effectively, and be an exceptional team player who is proactive, thorough, skeptical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide full-stack analytical support to a focused group of product managers, including OKR measurement and analysis 

Partner closely with the product organisation to deliver valuable, relevant, and compelling insights and recommendations, to address opportunities for product improvement 

Measure product feature engagement and performance

Ideate and design A/B/n experiments; analyze results with proven statistical methods

Participate in the analytics, testing and tracking discussions, to ensure all required data and metrics are appropriately implemented 

Leverage, integrate, and refine data from multiple sources including Business Intelligence platforms, query tools, raw logs, third party sources, etc, to deliver actionable insights

Create effective dashboards using data visualization tools, tailored to the audience 

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Relevant experience in a similar product analytics role, with a focus on innovative insights/deep dives, experimentation, visualization, stakeholder relationships and/or data storytelling 

Critical thinking, problem-solving and analytical investigation skills

Strong SQL skills are necessary

Hands-on experience with a/b testing and/or multivariate testing tools and statistics, used to optimize consumer experiences for B2C products

Strong business acumen and product intuition 

Ability to work with engineers and product managers on OKRs and tracking implementation of new features and experiments 

Excellent communication skills, including synthesis, presentation and storytelling 

Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field 

Preferred: Intermediate Python, PySpark or dbt knowledge

Preferred: Working knowledge of visualization tools and methods 

Preferred: Understanding of database technologies, specifically relational databases, data warehousing, or other database query tools and languages 

Preferred: Data modeling skills and basic knowledge of analytics engineering processes and tools

Range: $94,000-104,000
