Product Advisor III- Treasury Solutions

As a Product Advisor III- Treasury Solutions within PNC's Treasury Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. Other locations will also be considered: North Carolina, Arizona, Oregon, Texas, or Seattle.

The ideal candidate for this role within the Treasury Solutions Group will be responsible for solutioning of Embedded Finance opportunities, connectivity, and integrations services in a pre-sales advisory role during the engagement of prospective PNC Treasury Management (TM) Clients. The Integrations Solutions Advisor role will execute on defining the optimal solution for delivery of TM services based on PNC’s Embedded Finance program solutions. The role requires understanding of ERPs, accounting and treasury management systems and how they integrate with PNC’s TM products. The candidate will need to serve as an integrations SME, positioning PNC’s TM omnichannel experiences including online (Web) / mobile, traditional file transmissions (unattended file delivery through various secure protocols and methods), predefined connectors, SWIFT, and APIs.

Candidates with certifications such as the Institute of Finance and Management (IOFM) Order to Cash and Procure to Pay certifications, Certified Treasury Professions (CTP) by the Association of Financial Professionals and technology certifications that represent foundational understanding of unattended connectivity (secure file transmissions, APIs, VANs) are encouraged to apply. Also, candidates with experience in financial industry software in a sales / solution engineering SME role are suitable candidates and invited to apply.

Job Duties

•  Presales advisory: After sales teams vetting and exploring solutions options with existing and prospective new customers, develop solutions based on conversations with the sales force and customers. To be successful in this client facing role, knowledge of PNC TM products and services, industry knowledge of ERP, treasury management systems, and payments applications is a core requirement.
•  Assist sales to gain customer commitment on integrations solutions using standard discovery process and documentation for turnover to sales, customers, project managers and implementations.
•  Focus and emphasis of product knowledge on the “what” - B2B payments, B2C payments, reconciliation strategies including Current Day Reporting, Previous Day Reporting and the end to end data flow between clients’ systems and PNC, Account Verifications Services for fraud mitigation, and “how” these capabilities are enabled through PNC’s TM Digital Channels capabilities.
•  Advanced knowledge of file format industry standards including but not limited to International Organization for Standardization (a/k/a International Standards Organization) 20022 (ISO 20022), American National Standards Institute (ANSI X12 used for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)), Bank Administration Institute standards (BAI / BAI2), SWIFT Message Types, National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA), and others.
•  Identification of non-standard products / solutions and determination on feasibility through interaction with product management. Through Voice of the Customer and industry intelligence, advise product management of potential new product capabilities through preparation of strategy presentations which define markets, product design, etc.

•  Support the proposal writing team in RFP/RFI responses for non-standard, complex integration questions to accurately reflect product and integrations capabilities.
•  Understanding of “unattended” connectivity with particular emphasis of expertise around APIs and file transmissions.

Job DescriptionConsults with the client/prospect to assess business needs and identify product/service recommendations that provide transformation across their operating cycle. Designs efficient solutions to drive client business performance by automatic processes and integrating our platforms seamlessly into their operations from concept to design to implementation.Advises Sales team in the development of significant/complex sales opportunities, including tools, resources, proposals, presentations and the closing of the opportunities. Serve as team leader for product advisors, as needed. Works with the Sales team in the qualification and prioritization of pipeline and sales opportunities targeting large and complex opportunities.Completes diagnosis of client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews, research, tools development and modeling.Uses deep knowledge of PNC capabilities and interface to consult with the client/prospect to assess complex and highest value business opportunities and develops tailored solutions that are compatible with client systems and technology environments. Serves as liaison with the Client Implementation team.Engages with internal teams including Product Client Support and Go-to-Market teams to provide the customer perspective in the design, development and management of new or existing product/solution enhancements. Serves as a subject matter expert and advocate for PNC products, both internally and externally.
