OVERVIEW:

The Photo and Video Producer is responsible for the prep, shoot, and post production managing of DSG photo and video projects for Marketing. With a focus on Talent acquisition, seasonal timelines, budgets, finance management and best standards practices. In addition, this position will work closely with Managing Producer, Associate producer and Photo Studio Coordinator.

Support the Managing Producer
• Supervise and provide on-site management to freelance photographers, production managers, casting agents, model talent and production support staff

• Provide day-to-day service and support to Managing Producer, Creative Managers, Photo coordinator, other Creative Team members
• This includes maintain daily prep and shooting schedule
• Call sheets
• Pre- Production books
• Arranging travel and hotel accommodations
• Maintaining Talent document
• Permitting Location and clearance
• Obtaining equipment rentals and expendables
• Work closely with local production manager when presenting local stylist, H/MU, Props
• Arrange catering on shoots
• Issue all certificates of liability insurance for the job
• Work closely with photo coordinator to understand all product details important to shoot

• Work with internal corporate department clients supported by Creative Services and Marketing This includes but is not limited to: Brand, Ecomm, Product Development, Tabs, Public relations and Community Marketing and HR.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising/Marketing, Arts or Fashion

5-7 years of experience as a Producer or Studio Manager in an agency, studio, production company, fashion brand or retail company

High level computer proficiency and knowledge of everyday software and apps (Microsoft Excel & Office, Google Docs, Adobe Photoshop)

Strong budget forecasting, shoot estimating, and planning skills as a primary discipline - Must have strong workflow management, planning, problem solving, and communication skills

Proficient with photography usage, terminology, and market pricing

Skilled experience in negotiating and comprehending vendor contracts and internal legal agreements

Management of all video production as well as the workflow of the internal Digital Media Editor/Videographer

Knowledgeable of casting and talent selection process

Experience in location and studio scouting as well as knowledge of industry contacts and resources

Ability to function in a dynamic fast paced team environment and work with Creative Managers, Photo Coordinators, Merchants, other Creative Team members on each project

Thorough knowledge of the creative, photographic and digital processes as they relate to photo shoot, video, and event production

Ability to strongly negotiate and manage budgets, when dealing with external production managers, agencies, and talent

Established industry and business relationships with appropriate talent rep agencies, conducting regular portfolio reviews with agencies and internal creative team
