Overview We are seeking a full-time Producer in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of content and commercial production—from concept planning to budgeting, execution, and asset delivery. This role blends the skills of an agency producer and a line producer, providing both creative vision and logistical management for local and global projects. A Garmin Producer is the central force who unites the right people and resources to deliver award-winning work on time and within budget. Essential Functions Collaborates with account managers, project managers, and social strategists on production schedules and timelines. Researches and evaluates production partners, presenting creative options for review. Oversees schedules, budgets, and crew with clear on-set communication, detailed shot lists, and pre-production plans. Manages full production process for A–C level projects. Secures top-quality teams within budget, achieving Garmin’s creative standards and meeting deadlines. Builds and maintains strong vendor and partner relationships – locally and globally. Understands Garmin’s marketing processes and target markets. Stays ahead of trends through industry networking; delivers cost-effective, innovative content. Anticipates production challenges and offers proactive solutions. Appreciates Garmin’s brand value and is a genuine fan of its products. Coordinates and manages pre-production with lead producer and Global executive producer guidance. Oversees and supports postproduction team alongside the post producer. Partners with business/talent producer to maintain and submit appropriate contracts and agreements for non-union productions. Is seen as someone who is a go-getter and never gives up in order to get the scene, shot, budget, team, delivery etc right. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess a minimum of 2 years’ substantially similar work experience Demonstrated Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management software such as Sprinklr or WordPress Must demonstrate excellent communication and writing skills Must be positive, detail/team oriented, a driven problem solver with proven success solving difficult problems, and a multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize and work proactively/effectively in a fast paced, challenging environment Excellent time management and follow-up skills with the ability to generate and support pragmatic solutions Previous experience working in a team environment Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
