Your New Role…
The Producer, Global Productions is a key contributor to CNN’s revenue-driving content team. This role is responsible for developing premium feature content across CNN’s platforms- from digital articles and short-form social content to long-form documentaries. This producer will bring creative vision and strong editorial judgment to CNN’s global storytelling, often partnering with internal teams and external talent to produce impactful, on-brand work that supports commercial objectives. Ideal candidates are experienced multimedia storytellers with a passion for global narratives, innovation, and collaboration.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Pitch, develop, and produce editorially sound, visually compelling content across platforms (digital, TV, and social).Create story treatments and collaborate on pre-production plans for short- and long-form formats.Partner with internal stakeholders, including on-air talent, editors, and production teams, to deliver against editorial and campaign KPIs.Manage production schedules and logistics, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high editorial standards.Apply CNN’s editorial guidelines and Ofcom/S&P compliance standards to all content.Collaborate with regional bureaus and Concept Development Executives on series development and localization.Provide input on budgets and goals in coordination with the Supervising Producer.

Qualifications & Experience…

3-5 years of experience in content production, journalism, or digital storytelling, ideally in a fast-paced or global media environmentProven track record in producing engaging content (written, video, and/or social) that drives audience traffic and meets editorial standards.Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in story ideation across platforms.Deep understanding of news and feature production workflows, including digital-first approaches.Knowledge of global current affairs and sensitivity to cultural nuances.Familiarity with S&P and Ofcom compliance guidelines.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, logistics, and timelines efficiently.Must be willing and able to travel both regionally and internationally for field production.Experience working with commercial teams or sponsored content is a plus.
