We are seeking an hourly Full Time Produce Supervisor for our Balducci's location.   Responsibilities for Internal Candidates    

Primary Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests in selecting items, including cross-selling and up-selling Product knowledge/merchandising Computer skills Financials Supervise department associates.  Assign and follow up on tasks and counsel associates on work related issues.  Develop associates through timely, constructive and effective feedback. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of controlling perishable product quality and inventory Knowledge of ordering and inventory systems Utilizing all ordering/receiving systems  Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards as required.  ServSafe training a plus. Ability to work for long periods of time in the cold; ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds

 

  Qualifications for Internal Candidates     The ideal applicant will have at least 3 years of relevant professional and management experience working within the Produce departments in a food retailer and demonstrate excellent product knowledge.  This candidate must have supervisory skills.
