PROD_Production Coordinator

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Directly responsible for the Productivity of the line by coordinating activities with the service department and effectively managing any emergencies that arise. Succeed with production targets.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Lead, ensure and maintain an environment in compliance with Health and Safety standards.

Responsible to identify Safety top risks and lead multi departmental projects to mitigate risks.

Responsible of secure the indicators by means of the BSC (Qro) SMR (Jrz). 

Accountable of Meet Index Rates objectives and generate contention and solution. 

Responsible of the compliance of safety rules on all areas. 

Participate on Gemba’s and 5S'S audit, generating action plans to increase improvements. 

Accountable to generate a Safety environment promoting best safety practices among his/her teams. 

Responsible of assure that all Safety procedures are follow on his/her areas.

Lead and promote a work environment in accordance with the BRP culture (Labor Development)

Responsible to apply the internal work regulations and/or policies. 

Responsible to guide supervisors to take actions to meet the target for turnover, Absenteeism and HI. 

Responsible for his/her team participation on all trainings assigned for their development as well as to give proper follow up during the process.

Responsible for the PMP, PDP and PIP processes for his/her team when applies 

Responsible to generate a work environment based on trust, respect and teamwork reflected on his Office Vibe metric. 

Responsible for Onboarding process for supervisors. 

Build strategies to elevate Quality KPI's

Responsible to monitor and initiate VSM and Kaizen to solve repetitive problems 

Track BO's, Backtracks, PDI and CPU and prioritize resources to generate improvements to meet Quality objectives 

Influence the team members to be Quality ambassadors

Enforce and maintain a strong BRPMS mindset and behaviors in all levels of the team.

Responsible to strengthen the management of BRPMS tools

Promote a lean culture with the teams 

Live BRPMS principles and coach his team in this culture

Ensure the continuity of the operation and compliance with the production by the proper follow up of the area KPIs, aligning and reconciling the support areas                                                    

Responsible to communicate KPIS with his/her team and with all support areas

Responsible of making sure there is action taken (PSP) for each KPI out of target and make sure to give proper accountability 

Responsible to align priorities with his/her team and support areas in order to optimize resources usage. 

Responsible to establish a clear escalation process 

Responsible to implement contingency plans in case of any delay on the production plan or any special need for the operations


 

Responsible for the cost effectiveness and budget performance of the department.

Responsible to follow the HC forecast and the hiring plan and make sure each team member has the DL assigned to them 

Responsible to implement a strong process to follow overhead expenses (tool crib, PO's, etc..) as well as scrap 

Responsible to constantly implement and/or promote saving initiatives. 

Responsible to have strong control process for managing Overtime

Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics. 

Enforce Quality BRP policy. 

Follow up office vibe results though action plan.

Follow BRP values and behaviors.

SCHOLARSHIP:

Bachelor in: Engineering / Administration

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

5 years in: : Team management  (Preferably assembly systems, manufacturing or automotive)

 

LANGUAGE:

Fluent in Spanish  written and verbal.

English advanced (Min. 80%) written specially

French or german is an advantage.
