We are currently seeking an energetic high performing Procurement Team Lead to join our close-knit team, located in Broadmeadow
About Your Role:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager – Operations Maintenance you will:
Team Development: Participate in the development and implementation of functional team KPIs
Continuous Improvement:Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead process re-engineering and SOP implementation within the department, ensuring compliance with business and group policies and procedures
Mentorship:Mentor, guide, and support the Procurement Team in their daily activities and professional development
Order Verification: Verify and validate purchase orders in line with the business delegation of authority matrixOrder Management: Lead supplier order management, including expediting/rescheduling, tracking DIFOT performance, and conducting supplier audits.
About You:
To be considered for the role you have a background in procurement leadership, excellent team management skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You will be adept at process re-engineering, supplier management, and compliance with health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies.
