**About the Role**
+ Our Procurement Performance & Excellence team, part of Solvay Global Procurement, focuses on the key enablers that are Performance, Global process ownership and Sustainability.
+ As the Procurement Sustainability Manager, you will support the Head of Procurement Sustainability in implementing the sustainability strategy within Procurement. You will own and coordinate ESG risk management, supplier engagement, and sustainability integration into procurement processes. This role is hands-on, focusing on execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ You will be accountable for:
+ Driving Sustainability Strategy: Support the development and communication of the sustainability strategy, and contribute to project implementation through research and best practice insights.
+ Integrating Sustainability into Operations: Collaborate with category managers to embed sustainability into sourcing and supplier development, while tracking and reporting on key sustainability KPIs.
+ Fostering Supplier Engagement: Coordinate with suppliers and their CSR teams on sustainability initiatives, and support external collaboration efforts.
+ Supporting Team Learning and Development: Work with the Procurement Academy Manager to organize sustainability training and provide guidance on certifications and best practices.
+ Managing Sustainability Data: Collect, validate, and report sustainability data for internal and external use, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
+ Enabling Digital Collaboration: Partner with digital teams to streamline data exchange and benchmarking for sustainability performance
+ We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.
**About You**
+ Relevant education degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant work experience in procurement, sustainability development and operational management, preferably in the chemical industry or a related sector, is a plus.

**About the pay and benefits**
+ Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 46.720 € to 58.400 €, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
