Procurement Support Analyst
The need is for three (3) Procurement Support Analyst resources to support a variety of agency procurement [Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI)] initiatives prioritized by the client. Given the urgent client need, we would like to have these resources on-boarded by the end of July if not earlier – which would require interviews to occur as soon as the week after the holiday (7/7). However, all 3 are not required to start on the same date. See below for a high-level overview of the role, responsibilities, and qualifications and please let us know if you would like to discuss. This person could come from many backgrounds and levels of experience. Responsibilities + Coordinate and Manage Procurement Activities: Assist Solicitation Coordinators in the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. Help ensure that procurement activities align with agency policies and timelines, follow up on open action items, and raise risks that could impact projects. + Effective Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between various internal and external stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication to ensure smooth procurement processes and timely resolution of issues. + Records Maintenance and Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate procurement records and forms. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible, supporting compliance requirements. + Project Management: Utilize strong project management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks. Track project milestones and work products, ensuring timely completion and alignment with strategic objectives. + Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and analyses for stakeholders, highlighting procurement progress, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement. Mandatory Qualifications + Bachelor's degree preferred. + Proven experience in project management. + Procurement support or a similar role preferred. + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for stakeholder engagement. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Detail-oriented and analytical, with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in documentation and reporting. + Adaptable and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative. + Collaborative team player, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
