Procurement Sr Manager Job ID 216031 Posted 17-Apr-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Purchasing/Procurement Location(s) Chihuahua - Chihuahua - Mexico, Monterrey - Nuevo Leon - Mexico, Polanco - Ciudad de Mexico - Mexico **SENIOR Procurement Manager (MX)** **Role Purpose:** Support the account’s FM (Facilities Management) and PJM (Projects) Procurement requirements for both Mexico and the Americas. This role will predominantly be focused on PJM strategy, supplier management and contracting whilst also supporting Americas and Mexico FM with RFPs and other savings initiatives. Note: this role will be 60% FM focused, 40% PJM focused **Primary Objectives:** **PJM Sourcing Objectives** + Create and action the agreed procurement strategy with the PJM team, including procurement of services, materials, construction partners + Lead on contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure we are passing on the best costs and commercial protections to the client + Ensure CBRE Preferred partners are aligned with the PJM strategy and each applicable project, work these suppliers to obtain the best commercial and financial benefit for the PJM team + Investigate, identify and onboard appropriate new vendors for categories and/or geographies needed to fulfill the PJM team’s project pipeline + Lead on key commercial and contract negotiations with vendors, ensure the best commercial outcome is achieved for the client and that CBRE is commercially protected + Support the review of vendor bids, costs, and expenditures to ensure conformance with project budget, identify options for supply chain value engineering and alternatives + Attend project meetings and in conjunction with the PJM team provide advice as to the most cost effective and beneficial procurement route to pursue **FM Sourcing Objectives** + Evaluate current supplier spend for both the Americas and Mexico, work with the Senior Procurement Manager to identify savings and/or supplier consolidation opportunities + Create savings plan and run RFIs/RFPs for agreed categories to obtain savings + Support the review current category scopes, looking for opportunities of reduction + Ensure PJM Sourcing activity plans and FM Sourcing activity plans align where possible **Key Tasks:** + Deliver targeted savings and performance improvement benefits + Responsible for adherence to the overall CBRE Procurement strategies, policies and procedure + Build relationships with key Client's customers to actively promote CBRE’s procurement capability and to demonstrate the wider value add of the CBRE business to drive increased new business and customer retention + Develop and maintain a strong network of supportive internal stakeholders (both PJM and FM) that continuously promote procurement as a valued contributor to the success of the Honeywell account and the company + Identify and establish the supply chain in new markets and territories to support CBRE’s growth objectives + Develop contractual arrangements with preferred suppliers that are recognized for delivering best value and high-quality service delivery to CBRE and its customers + Develop and maintain relationships at appropriate levels within strategic and preferred supplier organizations + Ensure that the supply chain is safe, sustainable and appropriately accredited and establish the appropriate mechanisms for continual risk management and performance improvement of the supply chain + Develop and implement SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) strategies and plans with key suppliers that establish CBRE as a customer of choice in the marketplace and delivers value over and above what would normally be achieved + Develop and implement category strategies for elected categories leveraging the wider CBRE market position that ensure the client requirements and CBRE business needs are met + Develop and implement communication mechanisms within the region to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the delivery of procurement strategies **Core Competencies:** + Fluent written and spoken English + Excellent verbal and visual presentation skills + Customer focused, with excellent influencing and communication skills. + The ability to work with and influence a broad range of stakeholders + Collaborative approach, with the ability to maximise short term whilst building upon long-term productive relationships. + Highly accountable for own performance and delivery of outcomes + Strong team player + Thrive on working within a fast-paced organization across the region, with a diverse supply base and wide geographical spread of contracts. + Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills + A proven track record of identifying and delivering substantial savings. + Proficient analytical skills and a measured approach to decision making. + People management experience (this role will have a Senior Sourcing Analyst as a direct report) + Specific experience in the sourcing of FM & Hard services will be preferred _When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
