Senior SCM Specialist
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will perform assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your skills by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to promote professional development. The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation, IA Procurement & Logistic in Krakow. You will be mainly accountable for:• Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders• Regularly monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers• Efficiently manage on time deliveries• Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices• Conduct negotiations with the suppliers,• Closely collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders• Report your progress on a daily, weekly and monthly basis• Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements.
Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in business English (B2/C1) and Italian (C1 is essential).You have 1-2 years of experience in a corporate environment in operational procurement/SCM.You possess advanced knowledge of SAP Ariba and Excel.You are skilled in communication, encouraging team spirit, and maintaining customer focus with an approach.You effectively use negotiation skills.
