Your tasks and responsibilities: 

Perform all tasks associated with procurement, MDR, supplier quality management, supplier development management, contracts management, etc. Support internal Procurement transformational programs, embracing digitalization as an enabler for improved working. Take responsibility for strategic procurement activities for your commodities/category on local level and coordinate the activities with the international category management. Analyze local and international markets and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage large awarding and optimize costs. Maintain all relevant procurement databases (suppliers, pricing, contracts etc.), maintain relevant quality documents. Work closely with Sales, Project Management, Logistics, and other departments, to define strategic requirements for tenders and conduct negotiation activities. Collaborate and partner cross functionally with all levels of the organization. Working within cross-functional teams, considering various aspects such as quality policy, purchasing policy, commercial guidelines, and other global directives. Initiate and manage cost reduction projects in cross-functional teams - for both commercial and technical levers. Contact for all commercial issues with the suppliers. Initiate and implement internal projects to optimize purchasing processes. Measure, account for, and continuously optimize the KPIs of your commodities. Evaluate and analyze category trends; manage supply risk and minimize total costs. Develop and maintain professional relationships with suppliers including the development of new product concepts and/or optimized services. Manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting business requirements. 

 

Your qualifications and experience: 

Several years of professional experience in a comparable position and experience in the medical sector/healthcare industry. Good negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-solving skills. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to present complex content comprehensively to respective target groups. Completed business and/or technical university studies. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in handling common MS-Office applications Fluent Polish and English. Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of ISO 9001 and 13485 standards would be an advantage. A working knowledge of audit involvement with regards to ISO and other quality requirements would be an advantage.
