Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to procurement operations and support year-end processes for approximately eight weeks. Responsibilities: • Extract and analyze procurement data using tools such as Coupa and SpendHQ. • Utilize Excel to create pivot tables and perform basic data analysis. • Support year-end procurement processes by organizing and cleaning up existing data. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and workflow. • Adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate flexibility in handling various tasks. • Conduct supplier searches and retrieve relevant information using SpendHQ. • Assist in managing budgets and tracking procurement activities. • Provide back-office support to streamline procurement operations. • Ensure accuracy and completeness of procurement-related documentation. • Apply problem-solving skills to identify and address any operational challenges. Requirements • Proficiency in procurement tools such as Coupa and SpendHQ. • Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables. • Ability to work effectively in a contract position for approximately eight weeks. • Excellent communication skills for internal collaboration. • Familiarity with budget processes and procurement workflows. • Proven adaptability and flexibility in dynamic work environments. • Experience with ERP systems and procurement analytics. • Detail-oriented and organized approach to managing data and tasks.
