Job Description
The Procurement Specialist III plays a pivotal role in supporting sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities throughout the organization. This position requires a dynamic individual who can drive cost savings and process improvements while promoting policy compliance and educating stakeholders on procurement processes and risk management.
ResponsibilitiesTriage low dollar spend and categories effectively.Classify workers accurately and efficiently.Negotiate favorable contract terms, collaborating with legal as necessary.Resolve invoice discrepancies and procurement-related issues promptly.Partner with Procurement Analysts to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.Drive cost savings and process improvements within procurement operations.Promote policy compliance and educate stakeholders on procurement processes and risk management.Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business stakeholders to ensure proper classification, onboarding, and compliance of external workers.Knowledge of MSP Programs is beneficial.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree or 5+ years of procurement experience.Proficient in negotiation skills and basic contracting.Experience with Workday is required.Familiarity with ticketing system ServiceNow is essential.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge and experience in MSP Programs (external workforce management) is advantageous.Skilled in HR/legal and procurement processes.Work Environment
This is a fully remote role with candidates preferred in the Eastern Time Zone. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.00/hr.
