KBR is seeking a Procurement Specialist professional to join the PEQ team

This role requires a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and can work independently without constant direction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-   Executes purchasing of goods, services and supplies which includes RFQ inquiry, bid tabulation, commercial evaluation, commercial negotiation including terms and conditions, and order placement.

-   Expedites purchase order to monitor/manage vendor progress to ensure timely shipment of equipment/material to a project site in a safe and cost-efficient manner; including post-delivery purchase and site supports.

-   Coordinates with Project Management, Engineering, Logistics and other relevant departments to ensure proper execution as per stakeholders requirements and specifications.

Skills Required:

-   Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

-   Must have experience in MS Dynamics or SAP purchasing.

-   Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage shifting priorities.

-   Be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal/external stakeholders and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
