Procurement Specialist
Job Description This is a newly created role for a construction client in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to build the procurement function from the ground up. Purchase order systems are not currently in place, and this role will be instrumental in designing and implementing procurement workflows, tools, and vendor management practices. The individual will be supported by leadership with prior experience in high-performing procurement environments and will be encouraged to take initiative in shaping the future of procurement at the company. The Procurement Specialist will be encouraged to grow into a Procurement Manager role as the company scales. Opportunities for leadership, system ownership, and cross-functional influence will be supported through ongoing development and performance reviews.
