We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Procurement Specialist to lead and manage sourcing strategies within defined categories or sub-categories. This role is integral to engaging senior stakeholders and ensuring effective sourcing processes and materials management. The ideal candidate will provide valuable procurement advice and guidance to various business areas.
ResponsibilitiesLead key strategic initiatives with project and cross-functional teams.Engage with cross-functional leadership to determine sourcing requirements and supply chain design.Develop sourcing strategies to ensure cost advantage, continuity of supply, and effective operations.Define RFQ/RFP activities and conduct negotiations with suppliers.Manage contracting activities with Legal to reflect cross-functional engagements.Establish and maintain business relationships with internal and external partners.Synthesize and communicate insights to drive strategies and decision-making for executives.Represent the Supply Chain & Sourcing team in various forums and partner on actions and deliverables.Ensure pricing competitiveness and identify cost reduction opportunities.Manage supplier performance and ensure compliance with requirements.Develop new suppliers and maintain supplier relationships.Essential SkillsMinimum 8-10 years of experience in financial analysis and supply chain management.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.Ability to influence and build relationships across multiple layers in the organization.Leadership skills in ambiguous situations and managing conflicting priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Azure supply chain and sourcing processes is a plus.Experience in electronics or high-volume supply chain environments.Cloud/high-tech supply chain experience is advantageous.Work Environment
This role requires a hybrid working model with three days onsite per week in Redmond, WA. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with no overtime expected. Standard equipment, including a laptop, mouse, headset, and extra monitor, will be provided. A Citizenship Attestation is required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.
