About the Role
Babcock is seeking driven and dynamic Procurement Specialists to support the continued growth of our Defence operations.
In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with Procurement Managers and key stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies that align with business objectives, while ensuring excellence in service, compliance, and value for money.
You’ll lead sourcing activities within your category, manage end-to-end procurement processes, and cultivate strong supplier relationships to enhance performance. With a particular emphasis on partnerships with Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs), you’ll provide market insights that contribute to robust procurement strategies supporting the organisation's wider goals. Your expertise will also support procurement improvement initiatives, from conducting risk assessments to driving competitive supplier panel performance through RFQ processes.
Additionally, you'll negotiate supplier agreements, draft contract terms, and oversee the execution of RFx events to optimise value and elevate procurement metrics.
