Lead the procurement process for indirect goods and services by selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company regulations.Work with the direct procurement team in SCM for selecting vendors and negotiating contracts. Create indirect purchase orders in SAP, update IPOs, send purchase orders to vendors.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and align them with organizational goals and budgetary constraintsConduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess market trends, and capitalize on opportunities for cost savingsMaintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance evaluationsMonitor and manage supplier relationships to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standardsAssist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and mitigate risksProvide regular updates and reports on procurement activities to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvementStay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to procurement and incorporate relevant changes into procurement processes

Qualification (education, job experience, knowledge, personal attribute)

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field7 years or more of proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field, with a focus on indirect/direct supplier managementStrong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniquesExcellent negotiation and contract management abilitiesIn-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations, and industry trends SAP Experience
