Description We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in managing procurement operations, analyzing data, and driving cost-saving initiatives. This position offers hybrid flexibility and an excellent opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to strategic sourcing efforts in the retail industry. Responsibilities: • Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. • Collaborate with teams across finance, legal, and IT to support sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to ensure data-driven procurement decisions. • Monitor compliance with procurement policies, ensuring adherence to established guidelines. • Manage contract lifecycles, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking agreements. • Provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level procurement staff to strengthen team capabilities. • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend strategies for improvement. • Actively contribute to the development of procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate procurement and purchasing processes. • Strong knowledge of procurement functions and contract negotiations. • Ability to analyze historical data and market trends effectively. • Proficiency in developing dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs). • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management and compliance standards. • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Prior experience mentoring or guiding less experienced team members is a plus.
