JOB DESCRIPTION

HD Microsystems (HDM) has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a procurement specialist based in Parlin, NJ. This role will be responsible for managing internal purchasing requests and all activities associated with the buying process complying with HDM’s policies.  The candidate is customer and solution focused, has strong analytics and project management skills and drives results to be a valued Sourcing advisor.

HD MicroSystems (HDM) is a 50-50 joint venture of Resonac and DuPont.  HD MicroSystems is the world’s largest supplier of polyimide and PBO precursor chemistries specifically engineered for microelectronic applications. Applied and cured by our customers, these materials transform into polyimide and PBO films with unique end use properties. HDM's product line is broad, consisting of photosensitive coatings, standard non-photosensitive coatings, high temperature adhesives, optically clear coatings, and a full line of complementary ancillary products.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support and resolve procurement needsFlawless execution of the procurement process (creating and maintaining purchasing documents, vendor master management, agreement management and payment resolution)Manage effectively a defined portfolio of low value and non-strategic contracts and/or suppliersSupport continuous improvement projects and challenge status quo thru innovative ideas  Be an active and solution focused advisor for the business through formal client engagement routinesProvide transactional system and process supportMonitor and execute all transactions according to HDM’s internal controls and policies.Communicate and coordinate actions among all internal and external stake-holders to effectively assure supply of goods and services.Lead Customer requested reporting as necessary – Conflict Minerals, Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), Supplier Financial Health, etc.Collaborate in projects and/or networks beyond direct team scopeNegotiates and delivers savings to meet business requirements and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS

University degree in a related field requiredMinimum 1-3 years proven relevant working experience in Procure To Pay and/or Supply ChainHigh system expertise and/or experience in Microsoft Office, SAP and SRMProject Management skillsElectronics Industry knowledge preferredExperience in previous supplier facing role preferred
