PROCUREMENT SKINCARE BUYER

 

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Procurement team in Paris.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

As our Procurement Skincare Buyer you are responsible for new launches and base business procurement activities on execution. The purpose of the role is to manage & be accountable for all end-to-end Procurement activities related to Innovation and Productivity projects within their brand, while supporting the implementation of the Global Category Sourcing strategy. The Procurement Skincare Buyer is the face of Procurement for internal stakeholders and has full understanding of brand needs, evolution and positioning.

 

Your main focus:  

Product Innovation & Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support upcoming launches, ensuring sourcing aligns with sustainability goals, cost targets, and business needs. Proactively identify profit-driving and cost-saving opportunities. Procurement Productivity: Lead sourcing processes including tenders, supplier selection, and award procedures. Drive productivity initiatives across sustainability, cost reduction, and value generation, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking. Operational Support: Act as the procurement lead for brand-related claims, continuity planning, and budget tracking (CAPEX, savings, and spend). Implement actions to reduce material inventory and obsolescence. Strategic Leadership: Provide expert procurement guidance, influence decision-making, and manage risks and opportunities using product, supply chain, and market knowledge. Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Foster strong relationships with local teams and departments, ensuring efficient information sharing and supporting a professional procurement function.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT 

You like to influence and make a difference. As an experienced Procurement Skincare Buyer, you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement and ideally in the beauty industry, you have a high degree of fluency in English (written & oral), you have drive, and get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you bring:

Cost Management & Analysis: Identify and explain cost drivers and deviations from benchmarks; manage budgets, costs, and overall spend effectively. Negotiation Skills: Apply strong negotiation capabilities to optimize value and drive cost efficiencies. Risk Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate supply chain and project-related risks, with a critical focus on timing and impact. Project Management: Define project scope (e.g., savings, sustainability), plan and execute with risk awareness, ensure alignment, monitor progress, and drive successful delivery.
