Job Summary Provide support to the project team with basic procurement transaction activities (equipment, services and subcontracts) and develop an understanding of other operations within the Procurement Department. May be required to support other procurement duties, including expediting, procurement administration, closeout and proposal development. Receives direct supervision.Key Responsibilities Prepares contract documents and bidders list, as assigned.  Prepares, issues and supports the bidding process. Coordinates the evaluation process through the distribution of quotations, preparation of the commercial portion of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with engineering and construction regarding the technical and constructability evaluations. Coordinates the negotiation process to include preparing the commercial negotiation positions and organizing negotiation meetings with vendors and the project team. Coordinates the award and conforming process. Learns and becomes proficient in the basic functions of the vendor database to provide and track vendor information. Files appropriate documents and follows corporate and project filing rules. Individual contributor with no subordinates. Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience without a degree. Work Environment/Physical Demands

Travel may be required. Typical office environment. Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based upon manager discretion, job performance and work assignments.
