Job Summary:    

This role is responsible for stop capability resolution of supplier quality issues and the improvement of supplier processes within the manufacturing facility. The position plays a key role in ensuring that suppliers meet established quality standards and contribute to overall production efficiency.

What You Will Do:

Provides insights and recommendations to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborates with suppliers on quality improvement efforts, helping to develop and elevate quality standards.Ensures supplier reliability through implementation of process controls, audits, inspections, corrective actions, and certification programs.Identifies quality problems and partners with facility management and suppliers to develop short-term action plans.

Education requirement:

Candidates should possess a degree or demonstrate equivalent knowledge through professional expertise

What skills you will have:

Quality Management:

Implement and maintain quality systems (e.g., CQMS, ISO 9001, Six Sigma, APQP).Conduct annual supplier audits and ensure follow-through on corrective actions.Review PPAP submissions within EtQ to ensure product and process quality.Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives across the supply chain.

Procurement Function:

Develop suppliers based on quality and performance metrics (e.g., PPM, RPM, DPM).Align sourcing strategies with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Built In Quality goals at key suppliers.Use CGM SAP system to manage supplier data through Quality Module.


Problem Solving:

Perform root cause corrective analysis (RCCA) using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, or DMAIC.Resolve supplier quality issues efficiently with focus on BIQ Stop capability.Lead cross-functional teams to address and prevent recurring problems.Use data and quality metrics to support decision-making and process improvements.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

Review technical specifications (e.g., 1E, AWS) and supplier documentation with precision.Evaluate supplier provided reports with facility gathered measurements.Document audits, inspections, and compliance activities thoroughly.Ensure alignment between engineering requirements and supplier capabilities.

Additional Information:    

This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week at the Denison, TX office.

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position.

This position may require up to 20% travel.

Summary Pay Range:

$87,480.00 - $131,280.00
