This is a Full Time, Exempt position
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for supervising all farmerstock drying, bail-out, and storage operations operated by location staffAssists management team with operational activities associated with the storage and handling of farmerstock peanutsLeading and assisting with farmerstock bail-out operations of assigned warehousesMaintain and improve methods of handling product delivered from producersMaximize and look for ways to improve quality and value of stored peanutsPerform and supervise bail-out processes according to policies and guidelinesKnow and continue to learn new ways to store, handle, and bail-out farmerstock in order to minimize Aflatoxin growth, weight loss and dollar value lossMaintain ongoing pest control operations of farmerstock storage facilitiesMaintain and enforce all safety procedures outlined in Company written programsWork with location manager on all aspects of SpheraFurther responsibilities include working cooperatively with management team, co-workers, and multiple buying and storage locationsCarryout duties associated with cold storage facility including food safety plan and facilitate loading and unloading of shelled goodsQualificationsRole requires 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a production environment; college or trade school in equivalent field may be substitutedMust have and maintain valid driver’s licenseMust demonstrate strong decision making and leadership skillsAbility to learn and understand necessary quality controls and proceduresExcellent oral and written communication skillsMust have good computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Word and ExcelGood mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility and desire to plan, organize, and multi-task with limited direct supervisionWillingness to traveling short distances to perform duties (within daily driving distance)Strong desire to set a good example with punctuality, attendance, and attention to detailMust demonstrate high level of initiative, problem solving and team working skillsExcited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
