**99098BR** **Job Title:** Procurement Operations Superintendent - Camilla, GA **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Procurement Operations Superintendent - Camilla, GA** This is a Full Time, Exempt position **Job Responsibilities** + Responsible for supervising all farmerstock drying, bail-out, and storage operations operated by location staff + Assists management team with operational activities associated with the storage and handling of farmerstock peanuts + Leading and assisting with farmerstock bail-out operations of assigned warehouses + Maintain and improve methods of handling product delivered from producers + Maximize and look for ways to improve quality and value of stored peanuts + Perform and supervise bail-out processes according to policies and guidelines + Know and continue to learn new ways to store, handle, and bail-out farmerstock in order to minimize Aflatoxin growth, weight loss and dollar value loss + Maintain ongoing pest control operations of farmerstock storage facilities + Maintain and enforce all safety procedures outlined in Company written programs + Work with location manager on all aspects of Sphera + Further responsibilities include working cooperatively with management team, co-workers, and multiple buying and storage locations + Carryout duties associated with cold storage facility including food safety plan and facilitate loading and unloading of shelled goods **Qualifications** + Role requires 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in a production environment; college or trade school in equivalent field may be substituted + Must have and maintain valid driver’s license + Must demonstrate strong decision making and leadership skills + Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Must have good computer skills and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel + Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills + Ability and desire to plan, organize, and multi-task with limited direct supervision + Willingness to traveling short distances to perform duties (within daily driving distance) + Strong desire to set a good example with punctuality, attendance, and attention to detail + Must demonstrate high level of initiative, problem solving and team working skills Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
