We are seeking a talented individual to join our Global Sourcing & Procurement Team at Marsh Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
This position is for a developing professional individual contributor in Procurement Services, who works under moderate supervision. This position implements S2P infrastructure solutions within the geography, ensures compliance with company policies relating to Source to Pay, and works with Sourcing and colleagues to ensure complex procurement activities are in place and maintained, to ensure that the organisation's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
We will count on you to:
Resolve detailed issues with vendors regarding price, delivery, and terms to maintain relationships.Reviews Purchasing transactions to recommend incremental sourcing activity / contract compliance / opportunities for pricing improvement.Work with colleagues and suppliers to identify, document, analyse, and resolve any source to pay (S2P) related issues.Increase Spend Under Management – working with Sourcing teams on managing the category strategy, tail spend and compliance using category playbooks and rule engines to push spend through preferred vendors.Performance Monitoring and Reporting – monitor Procurement performance metrics using Qlik. Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.Risk Management - Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including supplier risks and compliance issues.Ensure that procurement practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.What you need to have:
1-2 years’ experience in global sourcing, procurement processes and supplier engagementStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvementCommercial acumen—experience in the financial sector is a plusExperienced in data analysis and financial cost model development.Energetic and self-motivated individuals enjoy not only working in a team but also having autonomy to complete your role.Strong customer-focus with proven ability in influencing, communicating and negotiating.Proactive self-starter who is highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results under tight deadlineWhat makes you standout?
