Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join the Commercial Crew Transportation System (CCTS) team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida.

Position Responsibilities:

Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreementsManages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processesDevelops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goalsAcquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsDevelops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reportsProvides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processesProvides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related toolsManages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience leading projects or teamsHow many years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation effortsMore than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performanceMore than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higherMore than 3 years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $110,500 - $136,500
