Job Description

AECOM is looking for a Procurement Manager-Rail for employment in Panama. 

The responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Deliver all aspects of procurement management.Provide procurement strategy advice including leading clients through the process of designing the optimum delivery model, contract strategy, commercial model and route to market for their project.Lead the competitive procurement process including market engagement, supplier shortlisting, tender document development, tender management, evaluation and negotiation.Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and to demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the profile of the company.Drive performance standards and technical excellence through communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a provider of professional, premium quality services to the construction industry.Develop marketing opportunities and where appropriate bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department, in order that they may assist in following up potential leads enabling the development of new business.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Experience and track record in procurement managementPublic Contract Regulations understandingWorking as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teamsExperience of working within a client organization, either directly or through a colocation/secondment arrangement would be of benefit.Experience of working in the rail sector is preferredAbility to identify and influence key client stakeholders, building effective relationships to grow workload/portfolio
