How You’ll Make an Impact
Management of Regional Commodity Teams: Lead and support the EMEA commodity team to ensure effective procurement strategies and operationsSupply Assurance: Act as the primary escalation point for supply assurance issues, ensuring that materials are available to meet production schedulesMaterial Cost Productivity (MCP): Develop and implement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve material cost productivity at the site levelSupplier Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions for the companyRisk Management: Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity of supplyContract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous termsPerformance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as production, quality, and finance, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectivesCompliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirementsWhat you bring
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plusProven experience in procurement, with a focus on direct materials, experience in managing teams and working in a manufacturing environment is preferredConfirmed negociation, communication and leadership skillsStrategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, strong organizational and project management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, ability to analyze data and make informed decisionsExcellent interpersonal and relationship-building skillsProficiency in procurement software and tools
