Position Overview
The Procurement Manager shall spearhead the formulation and execution of contracts and procurement strategies across the Aveanna enterprise. Through close collaboration within the organization, the Procurement Manager shall establish priorities for reducing costs and elevating service standards. Fostering a culture of collaboration, the Procurement Manager shall lead teams with the momentum to approach new challenges positively. Additionally, this role will involve skillful negotiation of product/equipment/service agreements to uphold financial performance, quality benchmarks, and heightened service expectations.
The Procurement Manager will hold the mandate to devise and implement strategies that augment operational efficiency and generate cost savings. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Procurement Manager shall be accountable for cultivating a culture of innovation, motivating teams to embrace fresh opportunities, and securing agreements that align with financial goals and service excellence.
Requirements
Essential Job Functions
+ Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
+ Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
+ Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors for the procurement of goods and services.
+ Work closely with accounts payable, to ensure that the prices negotiated with suppliers are accurately reflected in the invoicing and payment processes. This collaboration will help prevent discrepancies, overbilling, and payment errors, safeguarding the organization's financial exposure.
+ Lead and mentor procurement professional staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, customer service and innovation.
+ Lead major supplier negotiations and RFPs to achieve optimal value and ensure supplier business reviews are in place to monitor service levels, contract compliance and overall performance.
+ Monitor spending patterns and identify opportunities for cost reduction and savings without compromising quality or patient care.
+ Coordinate and report procurement plans, activities, and results with key representatives across departments and company divisions.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience successfully leading and executing strategic sourcing initiatives resulting in year-over-year reductions in total cost.
+ Progressively responsible experience in sourcing/contract administration with at least 3 years of lead or supervisory experience.
+ Strong working knowledge of MS Office, proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
+ Ability to demonstrate a strategic mindset to enable persuasive value conversations with vendors, stakeholders and executives at all levels.
+ Champions new ideas and/or direction motivating others.
+ Identify or is aware of challenges, obstacles or issues and takes ownership to implement desired solutions.
+ Ability to deconstruct and solve complex business problems; analyze situations, develop strategies, present & persuade others of strategy, effectively & efficiently execute.
+ Translate requirements and data analyses into audience appropriate presentations to recommend strategies and guide decision-making.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
+ Strong project/program management skills.
+ Experience in Workday procurement preferred.
+ Experience in the Durable Medical Equipment and/or Enteral Nutrition industry preferred.

+ Analysis - analyze variety of complex data and communicate information to diverse audiences for understanding and action.
+ Vendor management – demonstrated ability to manage external resources, establish new business relations and reinforce contractual terms.
+ Customer focus – operates with the end user in mind to achieve desired outcomes.
+ Influence – demonstrated ability to assess different views and communicate in such a way to gain mutual agreement to achieve appropriate action or result.
+ MS Office Suite of products and other software and platforms applicable to role.
+ Project Management - demonstrated knowledge of project management practices. Experience planning and executing large organizational programs and projects.
+ Initiative – self-directed to know what to do now or in the future.
+ Flexible - adaptable to adjusting to conflicting priorities and/or new direction.
+ Teamwork – commitment to teamwork.
Physical Demands
Work will involve above normal levels of stress involving financial and other reporting deadlines, fielding requests for strategic advice, engaging in personnel matters, and communications.
Work in a very fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands.
Travel to multiple sites for meetings with employees and vendors.
Must be able to speak, write and understand English.
Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, or twisting.
Must have visual and hearing acuity.
Work Environment
5 days per week in-office based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Potential for travel up to 10%
Must be able to function in a wide variety of environments which may involve exposure to allergens and other various conditions.
