Job Description

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for both supporting a seamless procurement lifecycle through buying goods and services for Jellyfish and seeking opportunities to create and deliver group-wide spend opportunities for The Brandtech Group of companies. You will work with our teams, identifying needs and developing specifications, negotiating cost-effective contracts, managing suppliers and ensuring service delivery exceeds our objectives.

Key categories of spend in scope will be the management of Technology (including but not limited to software/SaaS/hardware) consultancy services, HR services and key Marketing services such as creative production, media and digital.

Your responsibilities will include:

Work with operational leads to create and implement procurement category strategies based on spend analysis, market trends, and requirementsDevelop and implement procurement initiatives that align with the organisation's overall objectivesLeverage data insights, benchmarks, and metrics to innovate and drive both new and ongoing cost-saving opportunitiesLead end to end sourcing activities including RFPs, negotiations and supplier selectionPositively influence our Sustainability and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) objectives with our suppliers to help achieve our goal to be Carbon net zero by 2030Mitigate commercial and reputational risk through robust contract management monitoring contract performance against the negotiated and contracted SLAsSupport updates and review of Procurement policies and trainings/how to guides

Qualifications3+ years experience in a procurement role with category experienceIn-depth knowledge of sourcing principles and best practicesExperience of IT/Technology/ Indirect spend categories is advantageousYou thrive working in a fast paced and positively changing environmentA self-starter, with good leadership and experience being able to influence up to senior levelStrong negotiation skills, ability to think creatively and outside the box to drive positive outcomes for the businessA strong understanding of key contractual terms and conditions to help drive efficiencies and mitigate legal riskBeing resilient and having a positive and proactive problem-solving mindset is important.Analytical and able to interpret data quickly with strong Excel skills.Excellent knowledge of important contractual clauses and experience in the best sourcing and category management
