The Procurement Manager for Cytiva is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of goods and services, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with Cytiva policies.

This position reports to the Director, Operations and is part of the Cytiva - Aseptic Filling supply chain team located in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada and will be on-site.

What you will do:

· Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Cytiva’s objectives to optimize purchasing processes and supplier relationships.

· Oversee supplier management by identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms while maintaining quality standards.

· Coordinate across multiple departments by collaborating with internal teams to forecast needs and specifications, ensuring timely procurement of goods and services.

· Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal requirements and company policies, while managing risks associated with the supply chain.

· Provide strategic leadership and development for the procurement team to enhance supply chain performance and align to organizational objectives.

· Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to support end-of-life and new product development initiatives, ensuring alignment with project timelines and successful execution of product lifecycle strategies.

· Drive continuous improvement using DBS to gain efficiency in costs, quality and delivery.

Who you are:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field, or

· 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management within the high-tech manufacturing industry

· 3+ years of experience in leading teams and managing supply chain initiatives and projects · Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgement in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day technical and operational problems

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· ERP Proficiency (preferably Sage). Oracle is a plus.

· Advanced MS Office skills

· APICS certification or other procurement/supply chain certificates are a plus

The salary range for this role is $83,100 -$114,200 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
