We're looking for a Category Procurement Manager to be responsible within his/her segment(s) for bringing to GBU P & L entity a step change in savings/value.
He/she is responsible within category to assure that savings realization is achieved. The individual should have a vast knowledge of the HW category, including but not limited to Mainframe, Storage, Servers, PC's/peripherals, and networks. They will have leadership skills, as they will be expected to help guide their team mates within the HW category.

 

What will you be doing:

Ensure integration of procurement activities related to the defined category with other functions and operations. Contribute to the Global procurement network by participating in or leading procurement teams and actions within segment(s); Share and integrate best practices for the segment(s); Define Local procurement strategies and actions for segment(s) and ensure compliance to achieve TCO savings and value creation inside GBU. Supporting the respective Head to deliver the subarea procurement strategy. Delivering Savings in line with Atos Procurement definitions and policy. Developing an in depth understanding of the subarea supply base, including new digital and disruptive technologies and suppliers. Supporting the Procurement Bid team with value adding propositions to deliver competitive advantage to Atos and Atos Customers.

 

Requirements: 

7+ years of experience as a Procurement Buyer. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Negotiations, and Contract Management. Background in IT Services and Indirect category. Project Management experience (desirable). Supplier Performance Management experience (desirable).
