Procurement Manager
Description We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our team in Kent, Washington. This role is central to managing inventory controls, vendor relationships, and supply chain logistics to support company growth. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset and the ability to streamline operations while ensuring timely delivery for ongoing projects. Responsibilities: • Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock while adhering to lean inventory principles. • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships, seeking new suppliers as needed to meet business demands. • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supply chain agreements to optimize operational efficiency. • Coordinate logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of materials for projects. • Implement 'just-in-time' inventory practices to enhance project timelines and minimize delays. • Monitor and manage the receipt of inventory, ensuring quality and accuracy. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives. • Utilize ERP systems and other tools to track and manage procurement processes effectively. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain. • Support the company’s growth by developing scalable procurement strategies and solutions. The salary range for this position is $95k to $115k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with a match and 15 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 9 paid holidays per calendar year. Requirements • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor agreements and contracts. • Familiarity with 'just-in-time' inventory practices and lean inventory management. • Proficiency in ERP systems or similar tools for tracking and managing procurement processes. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to address logistics challenges. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
