Location: Warsaw, Poland

Job Purpose:

As Procurement Manager for Cans Europe & Global Lead you will be directly responsible for the sourcing of Aluminium and Tinplate Cans for Europe. Total spend of the global portfolio ~EUR 400M (of which Europe represents around 40%. You will also look after the overall global Aerosol Cans strategy including act as the FPOC for all global portfolio-related initiatives, leading the sustainability program and the global supplier partnerships.  You will be directly responsible for a team of 2 FTEs based in UL and Poland.

This role is responsible for analyzing and developing a deep understanding of the Cans supply markets, including external economic factors which influence those markets and finally develop and implement sourcing strategies, defining preferred suppliers’ lists, managing defined partnerships for value and growth and defining and implementing resilience for each market within the cluster.

This role will create a supplier network that aligns with the overall business objectives for the Personal Care Division and Markets, and in line with the overall Lighthouse strategy.

The role would require the candidate to be well-versed in the use of the cost model and its analysis. Use of digital tools and reports to enhance negotiations, opportunity identification. Lead and land portfolio savings. Develop and grow a supporting network to enable access to world-class packaging options. Engage closely with internal stakeholders to deliver business needs through a strong network of suppliers.


The role is responsible for price forecasting, best-in-class contracting and negotiations, benchmarking, supplier scanning, and support driving quality and service.Sustainability is key in this role. The role will involve driving the global sustainability agenda with clear cost glidepaths, delivering purpose with business priorities.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

Delivery of Lighthouse sourcing strategy, implementation through contracting and negotiations

Delivery of Financial KPI’s: NMCI, cash

Sustainability targets, RSP targets

Vertical Integration Analysis

Resilience program implementation

Continuous process improvement, financial forecasting

Effective supplier communications and engagement in key programs

Support BUs in Operations and Sustainability

Material price Forecasting

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL

Buying, negotiation, and contracting skills

Strategic sourcing

Supply market and FMCG knowledge

Expertise in sustainability, circular economy, and processing technologies

Demonstrated and proven leadership capabilities to lead and collaborate in a virtual team

Experience with cost models

Experience in procurement transformation projects, tools, and technologies.

Good appreciation or expertise of Aerosols Components technology

University degree

Skills:
