**Procurement Inventory Specialist - AdventHealth LOCATION** **Location Address:** 529 LAKE ESTELLE DRIVE, Orlando, 32803 **Top Reasons to work at AdventHealth** **LOCATION** **Work Hours/Shift:** + Full Time - Days **You Will Be Responsible For:** + Monitors inventory levels and adjust as needed to ensure adequate supplies are on hand and readily available. Contacts suppliers to place orders, verify price and obtains expected delivery date. Follows procurement guidelines by using Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), AdventHealth Systems (AHS) and Facilities designated vendors to meet compliance requirements. + Distributes and stocks materials in designated location and notifies technicians of any special deliveries. + Closely monitors open orders to ensure items are received in a timely manner. Uses good judgement in prioritizing orders based on need and item lead times. Notifies technicians of delays in delivery of parts and works with technician to determine alternative options to meet deadlines and minimize interruption of service. + Issues parts that technicians check out to repair work order to ensure parts cost are documented accurately for regulatory compliance and financial analysis purposes. + Performs reconciliation of all orders received against purchase order to ensure all items have been received and priced accurately. Tracks, investigates and resolves backorders and shipping discrepancies, working with suppliers to correct identified issues on a weekly basis. Qualifications **What You Will Need:** + 2 years customer service experience + Experience in healthcare industry (Preferred) + Experience in purchasing, materials management, or related field (Preferred) + Experience with ERP systems (Preferred) + High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) + Forklift certification (Preferred) **Job Summary:** The Procurement Inventory Specialist maintains appropriate inventory levels, placing orders for stock and non-stock items to ensure the smooth operations for Engineering and Clinical Engineering departments. Follows procurement guidelines to meet compliance requirements. Works closely with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders and communicates the status to buyers and customers. Gathers necessary information to enter into the ERP system, including item description, vendor part/item number, vendor information and price. Documents parts used by technician on repair work orders for regulatory compliance and financial analysis purposes. Completes special projects with a sense of urgency, paying attention to details and customer expectations.
