As we continue to deliver evolve, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer to join our project team.
About the role
This role requires 50% travel to the project site.
The Procurement Engineer ensures timely delivery and compliance with contractual obligations through strategic coordination, stakeholder engagement, and process efficiency.
Oversee procurement registers, meetings, schedules, vendor management, safety compliance, and continuous improvement across all project phases.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
Manage procurement across multiple packages, ensuring alignment with project timelines and requirements.Collaborate with SCQ, site engineers, and package leads to streamline procurement processes.Lead weekly procurement meetings and provide updates on progress, risks, and delays.Monitor ETAs and ensure timely delivery of materials to site.Maintain accurate procurement registers and ensure adherence to commercial processes.Support QA, FAT, vendor evaluations, and lessons learned with SCQ.Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by line management.Your skills and experience:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power, or related fields preferred.Strong experience in procurement, materials management, and vendor coordination, especially within renewable energy or utilities projects.Familiarity with LIDP reporting under the Local Jobs First Policy in Australia is highly regarded.Advanced skills in spreadsheets, databases, and expert-level knowledge of SAP procurement modules.Solid understanding of procurement processes, contract management, budgeting, and cost control.Proven track record in supporting engineering and energy sector projects with performance measurement and delivery focus.Please note that relevant screening checks will be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
