Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes: 

Represent the company and own the relationship with SuppliersPerform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutionsManage supplier crisis with on-site support within 24 hrs when requiredAssure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirementsDevelop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbookImprove quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assisting supplier in developing a robust quality system

QualificationsUniversity Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, industrial processes2 years, thereof 1 years’ experience in the field of Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or EngineeringKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment and facilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control and design of experimentsKnowledge of the Commodity structure and its processesKnowledge about quality management and value analysisKnowledge of MS-OfficeFlexibility, Ability to work under pressure, initiative, capacity of teamwork, social and intercultural competencyHigh level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team membersTechnical and Quality Certifications are a plus
