What You Will Do:
Provide support as a focal for the business unit by providing critical updates and managing supplier delivery compliance as well as related issues.Communicate with Suppliers, Buyers, and Program Managers regarding delivery status of material Communicate status updates for Supplier Requests for Information, First Article Inspection’s, and Quality Notification’s and drive issues to closure/completionProvide daily status of delinquent priority part numbers causing assembly stoppageParticipate in executive meetings as requiredUpdate Program Spreadsheets with current notes and actionsWhat You Will Bring
BA or BS degree preferred with 3 years’ experience with emphasis on supply chain/procurementAS or comparable 2-year degree with 5-8 years supply chain/procurement experience In lieu of degree 9 years plus of supply chain/procurement experience would be consideredExcellent written and oral communication skillsMicrosoft Suite experience required- emphasis on excel and preferred Power BI Excellent written and oral communication skillsSAP experience preferred
Pay Range: $72,000-$76,000/year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
This role is considered an on-site position located in Rockford, ILL
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, zero travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
